Although collecting is a common hobby, it is not an easy one. Bruce, a 4-year-old retriever, collects sticks.

His occupation has its own history, as told by his owner Leo Eisenhower. “Bruce began collecting sticks after snow covered our area. He had a favorite stick then, but after the snowfall he couldn’t find it. Trying to find it, he dug everything.” It’s not surprising that a dog collects sticks – after all, what four-legged dog doesn’t like to run around with a stick? Bruce has more than 50! If only the dog could tell their stories, they’d all be different: long, short, even, crooked.

The owner of the retriever lives near a stream that often overflows and leaves a lot of wood behind,” he says. Bruce did find his favorite stick after the snow melted, but after this incident he decided not to take risks anymore.

Following an accident in which the dog pierced his esophagus with a stick, the owner only allows the dog to collect sticks, but not play with them. In his warehouse, he keeps the wooden sticks, and only plays with the rubber sticks. Over 100,000 views and thousands of likes were received when Bruce’s owner posted these photos online! Bruce is so proud of his own collection!
