The actress is pleased with the outcome of the lawsuit against the father of her daughter

Her relationship with men was decidedly unlucky until recently.

All three marriages left the actress with unpleasant memories. A successful affair with Gabriel Aubry, the father of his eldest, 15-year-old daughter Nala, is hardly possible. As soon as she broke up with him, Aubry has been trying to squeeze as much money out of her as possible – under the pretext that she should spend it on Nala, to whom Halle and Gabriel have given joint custody. Ultimately, after a lengthy lawsuit, the actress was able to limit Aubry’s claims.

By court order, he got her to pay him $16,000 per month after they broke up. That’s not all. The actress was also required to transfer 4.3% of her income over 1.95 million to Gabriel. Considering that the actress’s fee is an average of 10 million per film, that’s a significant sum. As soon as Halle realized all this was unfair, she began to fight in court for her right to the money she earned. During 2021, she was able to reduce her monthly payments in half to $8,000.

Finally, she was able to cut additional payments. The court set a threshold for her payments. Regardless of how much she earns, she will no longer have to transfer more than 109 thousand to Aubry each year. As a result, Halle can now safely enjoy her long-awaited happiness, which she has finally found after a protracted process. She met musician Van Hunt almost three years ago, in 2020, who she believes is the love of her life. She had never imagined she would be able to build such harmonious relationships with anyone before that.
