Her dream of seeing her Marine father again serving in Afghanistan never crossed her mind when Alice Brown stood at the well in Disneyland California.
Alice’s mother captured this touching moment when her daughter made a wish next to Snow White.“My daddy needs to come home,” the girl says, closing her eyes.
After making a wish, the girl opens her eyes and sees her father, Lieutenant Scott Brown, kneeling beside her.“Hey baby,” he says before she jumps into his arms.“Liz was very concerned that her father wasn’t at home for so long. She is her father’s daughter,” her mother says.
A doll with a photograph of her father has been Alice and Liam’s toy since his departure.“My son was only 7 months old when I left. Since then, he only saw me in photographs,” says the father.Alice immediately told her parents that she had another wish after discovering that the well grants wishes.
“I want a puppy,” the girl said.Parents joked, “You already have a brother.”. Lieutenant Brown will be called back to duty, but for now the family is enjoying their time together.
