The man decided to cut down a tree in the garden, but the view was so beautiful that he built a house there instead

65-year-old Terry Meredith built a tree house in the English city of Uley, Gloucestershire, fulfilling the dream of most children. In it, the man now gladly receives guests.

Children and adults alike can relax in the tree house built by Terry Meredith.Terry wanted to cut down a tree, but when he climbed it, he changed his mind. There was a willow at the end of my garden that grew so big it blocked out the sunset. Originally, I was going to shorten the tree, but when I reached the top, my jaw dropped. My jaw dropped when I saw the view just 50 meters away.”

Terry built a small house on the willow tree instead of leaving it as a stump in his yard. “Even strangers go there to see the view six years after I first shared it with my family and friends. The majority of the work was done by Terry. Friends and acquaintances helped him somewhere.I am an electrician who is also a good carpenter, so building a treehouse was no problem for me. With a little help from friends here and there, I did most of the work myself over the course of 8 months.”
