Having published over 15 years of devoted duty stories, Betty Reid Soskin announced her retirement at the age of 100. Over the course of her 15 years at Home Front National Historic Parking Richmond, she left behind a legacy of selflessness and dedication.

After turning 100, Soskin was named the most famous park keeper in the USA. A public event has been organized to celebrate her retirement from duty on April 16. As a result, the legendary announced her retirement from her beloved job. During the 1940s, a legendary 100-year-old woman worked as a file clerk at a union hall.

A few years later, she and her husband Mel Reid opened Reid’s Records. She was forced to find another job after the store closed in 2019. Since 2011, I have worked as a ranger for the National Park Service Soskin turned 89 years old in 2011. It was her punctuality that allowed her to lead social projects at the visitor center and share memories with visitors.

Her story was the main focus of introducing history, which she seemed very proud of. She has enjoyed giving the national park a new look.
