Too tall to walk”: the world’s tallest girl shares her struggles

It’s great to be tall, of course. This can, however, be a real problem as well. The problem turned out to be huge!

Rumeisa Gelgi, an 18-year-old Turkish resident, was claimed to be the world’s tallest woman in 2015. 213 cm is her height. She lives with her parents in Safranbolu. The girl has a brother and sister with average heights. Rumeisa’s gigantism is genetic. Gelgi’s body parts are disproportionately large.

As a result, the tallest woman has a hard life. She has a hard time moving around. Rumeisa rarely walks by herself. Her wheelchair is usually used to carry her. She relies on a walker when she walks if she dares. Turkish women have a hard time finding clothes and shoes. It’s worth it to go up one shoe size. She wears a size 12.

It is for this reason that clothes and shoes are made to order. Even so, Gelgi tries not to give up and finds positive aspects in her situation despite all the difficulties. As a result, the woman jokes that there aren’t many people who can look down on her. Her house’s highest shelf is easily accessible to her. Turkey is home to the tallest man in the world. Sultan Kosen grew two hundred and fifty-one centimeters.

Rumeisa will definitely not catch up to him, which is a good thing for her. She was assured that she would not grow any higher by the doctors. Anna Haining Swan was the tallest woman in history. Two hundred and forty-one centimeters was her height.
