A top director is about to start filming his last film.

Tarantino has previously said he wants to retire at the height of fame and recognition, when he will have made 10 films. Now that the director has nine films under his belt, it seems that it’s time for his tenth. It is without a doubt that Quentin’s final work is bound to make a splash and honor the director’s departure from the profession. Tarantino keeps his word and is hard at work on a new film. The Hollywood Reporter reports that the director has already completed the script for The Movie Critic.

The next masterpiece can be filmed this fall. The plot details are kept behind seven locks, of course. Being a big movie fan, Quentin knows that spoilers are unnecessary. Some things, however, are already known. The film is set in the late 1970s in Los Angeles, and the main character is a woman. The film may be dedicated to one of the most influential and provocative film critics in history, Pauline Kael. Tarantino’s respect for the journalist confirms this version.

According to the publication, the director has not yet signed a contract with a studio. The filming will most likely be handled by Sony. Regardless, we are looking forward to the master’s 10th film.
