Katy Perry’s breakup with Orlando Bloom was the worst and the best year of her life.

In 2016, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom began dating. During the Golden Globes after-party, where they first met, the actor flirted with the singer.

They were then photographed at concerts, festivals, and combined holidays by the paparazzi. In spring 2017, the stars suddenly split up. After Katy and Orlando gave each other a second chance two years later, and they got engaged. Their relationship has now been transformed into one of family love. The stars became parents at the end of summer 2020. The name Daisy Dove was given to their daughter by her parents.

How did they overcome all difficulties and build a family? Chelsea Handler’s podcast featured Katie talking about this. I had the worst year of my life after we broke up – not just because of the relationship, but also because of a lot of changes that have taken place in my life. Suddenly, everything I believed in changed. Yet it was a chance for me to grow and develop,” Katy said. The couple now sees a psychologist as well.

Orlando and I do family therapy, and it works for us. While we are constantly in the spotlight, we need to be able to return to normal life with a child and a family. We must learn to be different in our small world than in the big one. Through therapy, we have achieved great success as a couple,” she added.
