With her lemonade stand, 3-year-old Ava Lewis helps the needy in Durham, North Carolina.

She told her mom, Maggie Lewis, that she wanted to help the kids at the beginning of the summer. For a long time, he thought about selling bracelets or lemonade. Lemonade it was.

Mom was surprised, but she helped her daughter open a lemonade stand. In their business plan, they decided to use all the proceeds from the sale to buy diapers and feeding bottles for children whose mothers couldn’t afford them. Near Maggie’s beauty salon, the stall was set up. Before starting work, Ava and her mom and grandmother tried different recipes.

The whole city heard about the baby’s lemonade. Now there’s a long line for lemonade. She’s become a local celebrity. She just reached her goal. A local charity got diapers and bottles from her sales.

You have no idea how much it means to us that such a young girl, who is only three, cares about others,” the charity’s director shared.
