When Gunner first arrived at the docks, Blanton expected him to bark or become agitated. He did the opposite, lying down and watching. As Marie took Gunner along, she noticed Delta was always the first one to swim up to him. When she gave the dog her toys, he tried to play with them. At just two months of age, Gunner was introduced to dolphins for the first time. Despite the dog’s age, his bond with Delta, 11 years old, has only gotten stronger. They still recognize each other even though they don’t see each other as frequently as they used to.

On his Instagram account, the guy shared a photo of the pair. The tweet was liked by over 1.2 million people, and it was retweeted by over 250,000.
