An English woman who thought she had lost her wedding band for good found out later that her dog had eaten it! The previous evening, Elana discovered that her priceless stone ring was missing from the bedside table.
She recognized the ring’s recipient when she saw a shredded box of Kleenex on the floor. Steve, her favorite pet dog, who had secretly entered the room, ate it. Meanwhile, Elana took her dog to a veterinarian.
According to the x-ray, Steve swallowed her mother’s priceless ring. It was undoubtedly a comforting realization for the lady to learn that the ring had been lost, but now the question was how to retrieve it.
Elana and her better half underestimated how hard it would be to retrieve Steve’s stomach ring. They even used a metal finder to search for the dog after he ran away.
Four days later, they found him. According to the woman, “We even bought a metal detector to watch it, and it eventually reappeared on the fourth day.”
