The parents of a two-year-old child are a young Australian couple. Recently, they decided to get a pet. They came across a Doberman at the animal shelter. After his owners abandoned him, the couple warmly welcomed the unhappy dog into their home.
Their attitudes towards their new pet forever changed four days later. On this particular day, the dog was playing in the yard with his owner’s daughter. The dog and girl didn’t seem to have any problems.
He growled and bared his fangs, grabbing the child by the diaper and fleeing. The woman realized that the dog had guarded her instead of attacking her daughter when she dashed to her daughter’s aid.
A poisonous snake had just crawled across the area where the infant was frolicking a few seconds earlier. He acted immediately to save the girl when he saw what was happening. Unfortunately, he was bitten by the snake.
The girl was found to be healthy and unharmed, and the dog was given the appropriate medical attention. After receiving the antidote, the dog quickly recovered. They are smitten with their new family member, who has also proven to be a real hero.
