After spotting a sick kitten on the street a few weeks earlier, Meghan, a native of Texas, brought it home. Garry, Meghan’s kitten, was ill-conditioned and unable to adapt to his new environment.
Picky, the kitten’s older brother, soon began helping him with everything. Picky lived with Meghan for years, even though he spent most of his time outside and only went inside to feed and rest occasionally.
However, as soon as he saw Garry, everything changed: the aloof cat became compassionate and empathic. Picky took care of his younger sister by playing with her, cleaning for her, watching out for her, and even putting her to bed.
Picky was relieved to be back home since he had been missing the kitten so much. Little Garry enjoys spending time with his elder brother, who is now mostly at home, as he recovers.
