It was a lucky star that guided the birth of a stray puppy. Texas was going to get cold, and the dog couldn’t nurse any more babies. Then she met Aubrey and her husband, who introduced her to a wonderful, caring family.

In the weeks leading up to the due date, Aubrey set up a comfortable labor place in the house – a soft, separated area with medications in case things went wrong. Texas was getting pretty cold. The state was then enveloped in a heavy blizzard. The dog gave birth to its first child when the electricity went out. During the power outage, the dog gave birth to its first child. As soon as the puppy was born, he began to lose heat rapidly.

Aubrey and her husband moved the dog into the guest bathroom, which had a steam shower. All of the faucets were turned on and the hot water was turned on. Aubrey realized that no amount of planning could help when her fourth puppy arrived.

The kids and puppies were getting too cold – not just the puppies. Afterward, the family went to Aubrey’s mother’s house in the neighborhood. To stay calm in a heated room, give birth to a dog, and take care of the puppies, these people needed a heated room!

When she adopted the puppy from the shelter, Aubrey made a strong commitment to provide her with the best care possible. It didn’t matter what it took for her to keep her promise.
