She was taken in by Lucy’s owner, Anita, a mother of two, two years ago. As a result of the cat’s special connection with the boy and girl, the family quickly warmed up to it. There was a lot of time spent at home by the children.
The kids were accompanied everywhere by her and she walked them. The kids were homeschooled, but Anita attended school for free lunches every day. Lucy continued to accompany them everywhere after the children resumed attending school full-time.
Lucy enrolled in school one day. Silently, she entered the school after the students, but she was quickly found. Anita was constantly apologizing to the teacher for the cat’s boldness.
When Anita raced to the school, Lucy stood a distance from the front doors, waiting for the right moment to enter. Anita pretended nothing had happened when the cat spotted her.
