At Boronla Veterinary Clinic in Melbourne, a possum resembling the Pokemon mascot was brought in early in November.

Veterinarians believe this possum has a hereditary condition that causes its typically gray hair to turn golden due to a melanin deficiency. The young possum was found on the ground by a volunteer, who thought it was 6 months old. A medical examination confirmed the child’s good health. The guardian took care of him after he spent the night with the veterinarian. Nature is unlikely to introduce this adorable animal in the near future due to its distinctive coloring, which makes it extremely noticeable.

Social media has become a more popular platform for Pika, despite her uncertain future. The golden possum picture has been shared more than 1,400 times on Instagram.

In real life, such a cute animal is rare, so everyone would want to see it. I find it beautiful. Hopefully, this magnificent cat will live out its days with kind and considerate human companions.
