In this story, a cat gets lucky after being hungry and thirsty for a week. Despite living a happy and interesting life, Marilyn the cat was unhappy at times. Everything was perfect for her: she lived in a permanent home, she had a caring family. She won many exhibitions in which she participated.
One day, everything changed for the worse. She was 10 years old and out of luck at the time. Unfortunately, her owner ended up in the hospital, leaving her all alone. As soon as the water and food behind the closed door of the apartment ran out, she had to find another way to survive. Unfortunately, Marilyn did not know how to resolve this issue.
Finally, she had good luck. A shelter’s employees soon removed the cat from the apartment. She was completely exhausted and very weak. Upon examination at the veterinarian clinic, it was found that she had kidney disease, eye trauma, and heart disease. One of the veterinarians’ goals was to prolong the cat’s life.
She soon drew the attention of a woman who was charmed by her appearance and condition. The new owner said the cat looked so unhappy that when she saw her, she decided she deserved to be happy, so she made her happy.
Furthermore, she had difficulties getting along with other two cats, but gradually became friendly and began playing with them. Since Marilyn is surrounded by love and care in her new home, she is very happy.
