He spent most of his life with a devoted family, going for runs in the nearby park and enjoying his owners’ company.
After his former owner couldn’t focus on him anymore, the dog noticed that he was heading to a shelter for dogs. Billy was described by the sanctuary’s proprietor as “firey, playful, gentle, free, sensitive, quiet, and barking like an old person.”
Now that Billy is an established child, he needs more sleep. Since he enjoys relaxing, he has earned the right to do so. It doesn’t matter where he lies, he will fall asleep wherever he is – on a bathroom seat, a kitchen floor, or even the biggest, coziest bed.
The shelter workers renovated the room to celebrate the dog’s birthday and provide him with the two things he most cherishes – treats and a rest.
In order to make each dog feel unique, the owner throws parties to remember every conceivable event with the pets under their care. Billy will be able to celebrate many more birthdays thanks to those who look after him.
