As soon as Karen’s supervisor saw the stray dog, he decided to take her to a no-kill shelter. Karen later confessed to him that he had to have the puppy. Karen took her home after that.
They discovered that the dog had several litters of puppies after taking her to the vet. As he thought she was probably having pups, the good man just left her.
For the first several months, the dog merely hid, refusing to emerge until she was rewarded or instructed to do so. It took the dog six months to trust her new family, however. It was the perfect dog for him.
She was a completely different dog after two years with Karen. It looked like the dog was having a lot of fun. Karen couldn’t go to the gym alone, so she went every day with her.
The friendly Labrador ran over to the gym to greet everyone. While watching her owner and other people exercise, she would remain seated. Karen was never far from her sight.
