An employee arrived at work one morning to find this dog tethered to a fence. When the shelter first took in the tiny dog, he was scared. It didn’t seem like he understood what was going on.
In the volunteer’s observation, he seemed nervous and would snarl when meeting new people. “He would stop when given sweets and another baby spoke to him.” He was discovered chained to the fence, so it’s not surprising.
Over time, the dog gradually adapted to life at the shelter. Over the past two months, the staff had worked hard to find him the perfect new family. A much better outcome was found once he was reunited with his family.
The animal shelter learned in March that the dog had a family looking for him. Reports indicate that he was taken away from his family and found himself at a shelter. When they found out he was found, they were overjoyed.
The dog jumped into his mother’s arms as soon as he saw her and cuddled her. There was no doubt in anyone’s mind that the dog had returned to his family. Everyone was happy that they had been able to contribute to the reunion’s success.
