Truck driver Jack works for a company. He often travels with his cat Wally. Jack was devastated when the cat died. While traveling for a long time, the man missed his friend and decided to adopt a cat from a shelter.
Jack was shown Maple, a ginger cat who had previously been a street cat, by a shelter worker. It was a loving cat despite its troubled upbringing. By taking the cat inside, the man brought a lot of harm to it.
Initially, Maple was transported by train across the Midwest for two weeks. The man stopped in Ohio on his way to Indiana. The bird suddenly vanished after Maple jumped from the truck and flew after it.
He was nowhere to be found when Jack searched for him. His cat was gone. On his Facebook page, Jack commented that Maple was missing. He was contacted by Ohio shelters in an attempt to get help. Upon arriving at Virginia, Maple appeared under the car.
Despite being trapped inside the truck, the cat managed to stay alive. When he opens the cabin door, Jack keeps an eye on the cat. Two years have passed since Maple and Jack started dating.
