A woman saw a dog that needed help one day. She was helping the dog when a cat came up to her and asked for food. When she went to get some cat food, which she typically keeps on hand, another cat joined them.
She said she started talking to neighbors and found out the animals had been here for five months.
As she watched the cats, she grew less convinced they belonged outside, despite her plans to cure and examine them.
Instead, she called her husband to let him know they would be taking in three kittens that night! Though she only had one cat carrier, the three of them were content to travel together to the woman’s house.
She stated, “I was absolutely certain that these were indoor cats who had been sent outside.” When I realized this, I felt it was unfair to abandon these lovely animals.
