In a kind gesture, a couple took in a calf who had lost his mother. He was about to suffer the same fate as his mother when the kind couple spared his life.
There was great discomfort in the young cow’s body due to pneumonia. He had a fever, coughed, and was having trouble breathing. Despite regular inspections by physicians, the couple did not believe the calf would live.
Thankfully, the resilient young cow healed, but only with the assistance of the family’s devoted dog, who stayed by the calf’s side, soothing and tending to him. Once he met him, they became friends.
He was licking, cuddling, and cleansing his lips. Due to his failing health, he was willing to go above and beyond to assist his companion.
Having been rescued, the calf is now playing with the friend who rescued him. There is no doubt that they are connected. They are always playing in the yard together. They both feel happy and joyful as a result of this.
