Amelia’s loving owners, who had always been devoted to her, could not imagine abandoning her. When the puppy was just two months old, a neighbor found her and alerted animal rights advocates.
She was immediately taken to a shelter. Nancy then walked to the sanctuary. Shelters could never replace her loving family and permanent home.
Nancy’s cherished puppy, Jada, recently passed away. In her opinion, it was impossible to have a link with another animal. Destiny had other plans for her than accompanying Amelia.
Having trouble adjusting to life in a shelter, Amelia saw Nancy as a hero. After the foster care term was completed, the child kept the animal since she could no longer imagine life without it.
