Pets can show their owners how much they care by giving them hugs, purring, and other displays of affection. In general, everything about dogs is obvious. A strong tail wag and the obligatory “hugs” are sure signs that the animal is happy to meet you.
Levi, a dog, went above and beyond, though, and came up with a pretty brilliant way to show how much he loves his owner. An open Facebook group for animal lovers once featured Ann Rae’s odd gifts Levi gives her after work.
Levi enjoyed the “gift-giving game.” He began to bring Ann more and more “presents.” His most romantic gift was a bouquet of flowers. He acted like a gentleman by sharing the painstakingly cultivated plants that had been devoured since spring with the lady.
I give him a big hug and thank him, like he brought me a winning lottery ticket. There will be times when you encounter difficulties.
The dog’s appreciation for its owner is evident to all.
