Having been abandoned by his mother from day one, this beagle’s life was far from enjoyable. Happiness, however, grinned at him. He was embraced by his mother despite the fact that she did not give birth to him.
When Bean’s mother came to the donkey refuge, she was expecting. Despite being only a few months away from giving birth, the donkey was totally unprepared.
Despite the staff’s best efforts, the mother donkey lacked maternal instinct. As soon as her foal was born, she abandoned him as well. Despite the efforts of shelter workers, the donkey did not show affection to her foal, would not allow him to get close, and backed away when he approached her.
While the hardworking employees at the shelter tried everything they could to keep the little donkey there, their efforts were ultimately successful.
When Bean’s mother was away, he met Jiggle, another donkey at the refuge. Everyone at the shelter was delighted to learn that Bean had finally found a loving mother. This adorable boy deserves it after everything he’s been through.
