If A Stray Dog Is Terrified, She Won’t Allow Anyone To Touch Her Until Another Dog Comes Along

One morning, Saint was discovered on the streets of Brooklyn after spending the night alone searching for a safe haven. She eventually sat on the porch of one of the houses.

People quickly noticed the dog curled up in a ball on the street. Despite many people’s efforts to help Saint, she refused to allow anyone to touch her. The poor animal was terrified, but the right person emerged shortly thereafter. A neighbor notified Gina Gregorio at 8 a.m. about the situation.

After a stroll with Salty, Gina decided to visit Saint. Salty knew what to do when Saint was still afraid to let anyone near her. Humans and dogs came together to help. When someone approached Saint, she would snarl. My husband and I went to the supermarket and bought some chicken breasts. The food fragments I tossed her seemed to go unnoticed. But my dog gradually climbed the steps and began devouring them,” Gregorio explains.

Despite the delicious meal being thrown away, Salty did not want to waste it. She climbed the stairwell and began eating. When Saint saw Salty devouring her chicken, she softened quickly. When Saint saw another dog eating chicken, she knew everything would be okay, and that everyone was merely there to help.

She eventually calmed down and even allowed some people to approach her. She was then transferred to the Brooklyn Animal Care Center. When the dog arrived at the shelter, she was still terrified and wouldn’t allow anyone to touch her. Once Saint was taken outside to play, she overcame her anxiety and became a whole new dog.

She enjoyed attracting attention to herself and cuddling with her shelter friends. Despite still being timid, she soon relaxed and lavished attention and love on everyone. Despite her difficult beginning, Saint is becoming more confident every day and will make a wonderful addition to any happy household.
