Over time, Andrew and the cat have become close friends and enjoy spending time together. Andrew loves receiving hugs from the cat. Nina, Andrew’s mother, searched numerous Facebook groups, went to shelters, and wrote reviews to find the cat.
Until five weeks after Finnie disappeared, someone posted on Facebook that she had found the cat. I found out he was right behind us after seeing a lot of pictures of him on Facebook.
He lived on the following street. Nina was delighted to learn that he had been found, safe and sound; now all they had to do was schedule their rendezvous. One of his neighbors looked after him and kept him safe at his house until his family could pick him up.
It was a wonderful surprise that Nina organized to get Finnie back for Andrew. When Andrew and his neighbor arrived at the neighbor’s house to wait for the “gift,” he was shocked to see Finnie in his neighbor’s arms. After learning that his closest friend had been discovered, he was filled with emotion.
