Daniela Hopper has always had a special heart for stray animals. In the past, Daniela has visited shelters like this one all over the world. Seeing creatures that needed saving was nothing new to her.
She had no idea how shocked she would be when she arrived at the next shelter. At the time, she was in Israel. Rescue and help were needed for every dog at this shelter.
Hopper was speechless after seeing all of this. Every single one of these dogs needed help, so she couldn’t choose one to save. At that point, Hopper decided to buy all 250 dogs from the shelter.
She has been successful in finding homes for more animals transferred to Ontario shelters since then. Aside from that, half of the original 25 dogs were adopted and relocated to new homes.
They have once again learned to trust people after receiving more than just bread and water.
