Time seems to fly sometimes. It’s natural to reflect on our lives and marvel at what we’ve accomplished when we reach a significant milestone.
Moreover, what better way to commemorate Dylan’s journey than to include his constant companion? Since Ruger was adopted, he has been a member of the family for more than a decade and has been cherished and loved by all. When Ruger joined the family, Dylan was just a baby. They quickly became very close and heartfelt friends.
Ruger was there for all of Dylan’s milestones and precious moments as he grew into the young man he is today. Ruger was just a baby when Dylan started school, so they took a picture together to remember the moment. Years later, Dylan’s mommy came up with the idea to recreate the picture from Dylan’s first day of school when Dylan was graduating from high school.
There was something really adorable about the picture, full of love, and perhaps a little bittersweetness, showing how time has passed. Dylan was delighted to have a picture that perfectly captured Ruger’s significance to him as well as their love and loyalty, and Corie found the comparison extremely moving.
Over the course of his life, Ruger has been a part of many memorable and ordinary events, and he has given the family numerous cherished memories. Unfortunately, Ruger’s journey is coming to an end. The senior dog has been battling cancer for some time and will soon be laid to rest. Despite Ruger’s passing breaking the family’s heart, they are grateful for all the wonderful memories he contributed to their lives. Both Ruger’s family and sweet little Ruger are now making the most of their remaining time.
At the moment, they are focusing on their love and affection for one another, ensuring they cherish every moment they have together. There have been many people who have expressed their love for Dylan and Ruger and have been moved by the beautiful recreation of the two dogs.
