The owner of this cat passed away a year ago. Despite this, the devoted animal has remained with her mother. Kelli, a passerby from central Jaava, was the first to hear this cat’s sorrowful cry, and she carried the animal home to console it.
The cat returned to his previous home the next day, however. Since he couldn’t accept his loss, the cat spent a whole year there.
From there, the cat only gets up to return home and be fed by his owner’s children. He meows while sleeping there. Seeing this is quite distressing. Kelli says it shows how close the animals are to their owners.
It has been suggested that even pets like cats who do not show much affection to their owners may actually feel their loss if the human suddenly disappears.
