The dog was abandoned on the side of the road in 2021 when it was 15 years old. He was overweight and covered in maggots. It was unclear to her why she was alone, despite her strong desire to live.
She was treated and adopted by animal rescue groups who went above and beyond. Despite her age, many adoptive parents didn’t notice her, but a kind person tried to help her. The formerly ill pup now resides in her new home. She will never experience loneliness again. One dog named Belky was observed wandering along a Michigan highway. Upon contacting the Saginaw Police, Belky was taken to the special Animal Care Center. Rescuers brought the dog to the vet clinic for treatment.
Belky was given to Animal Welfare Society of Midland County by SCAC after it had been cured of maggots and fed. As a result, they dealt with her until she found her caring family. In preparation for adoption, Belky lost a few kilograms. BISSELL Pet Foundation’s Empty Shelters, a special adoption company, connected the elder dog with her adoptive parents. When Brianna first saw Belky’s picture on social media, she instantly fell in love with her. Meeting Belky only confirmed their compatibility.
Brianne adopted an elderly dog who deserved a loving home. I understand that older dogs can be more challenging to accept because everyone needs pups who will remain with them for a long time. As Brianna said, “And finding a home for her will be even more difficult since she needs medicines.”. The following day, when I visited the shelter, she was still present, so I felt extremely fortunate.
