Online images of newborn animals make us happy. Although they won’t make the best pets as adults, they are adorable as young children. After being transported to a very unique place, Little Jelly’s life changed forever.
Meghan and her husband built the shelter on the farm where her parents grew up. I helped a goat last spring, and everything fell into place. Jelly was just four days old when he was brought to the shelter. Two dogs who also lived at the shelter assisted him. A hearty welcome to the farm was extended to Jelly.
It didn’t take long for them to become close. After Jelly came, they relaxed on the couch within a few hours. Meghan found this when she returned from leaving the room. Dole and Jelly were watching television together on the couch this day.
After taking a little break, I returned to it. Both of them were happy. I am fascinated by the coexistence of several species. It amazes me how well this dog treats a lamb compared to many people.
