After Being Saved, A Shelter Dog Embraces His Sibling

Volunteers from a rescue organization in the US state of Ohio received a call recently. According to the caller, there is a family of dogs in need of assistance. When they arrived at the given address, the shelter’s director and one of its staff members found a mother dog and two puppies.

The dogs’ owners have chosen not to care for them, so they are entirely dependent on each other. When found in the street, the cubs avoided eye contact and were shy.

There were no health problems with the dogs; they just didn’t know what to do. A profound impact was made on the rescuers by the way the brother hugged and consoled his sister.

After receiving all of their vaccinations, puppies are now receiving therapy in order to get used to talking to people and stop being afraid constantly.

Volunteers are optimistic that they will be able to adopt the puppies after a little more time. Within the next week, the mother dog started acting much more confidently, interacting with people and not avoiding them.
