In November, Austin Animal Cruelty Division received a call about a dog that had died in a filthy cage.

Ewa, the detective, observed the dog’s ribs moving upon better examination when the police arrived. The pus was malnourished, covered in feces, and heavily starved. Wagner, a police officer, told The Huffington Post that the dog was breathing just barely. “We hurried her to the Austin animal clinic where doctors began emergency healing.”

Her body temperature was too low for a thermometer to register, and she wasn’t moving at all. It was believed that she would not survive. She hurried to help, an earth angel. Besides giving her a hot bath and using a fan to raise her body temperature, the vet cared for the pup for several hours, saving its life.

According to Elizabeth, “I just talked with her and told her that during those first few hours, she was adored. She knew she wanted to take care of this strong little survivor, so she named her Sophie. Her new family adores her and she has completely recovered. “Elizabeth mentions that she will never again be cold and she will never miss a meal. I’m certain of that.

“Police received a call about a dead dog lying in a filthy crate in November. When they arrived, they discovered a pup that was malnourished and covered in feces. As soon as detective Ewa saw that the puppy was still alive, she hurried her to the vet. Her temperature was too low for a thermometer to read, and she wasn’t moving at all. We believed she would be unable to fight.

A veterinarian, Elizabeth, gave her a warm bath and warmed her up with a blow dryer. Her eyes were pleading and she was freezing and wet, and I talked to her the entire time. Everyone thought she would die, but I kept telling her she would be okay. The pup was named Sophie by Mancera after she decided to adopt it. It won’t happen again that she misses a meal or gets cold.
