Dimka tried to make ends meet while traveling. As he extended his paw to onlookers, they offered him a piece of bread. The dog dozed off under the Kamaz trucks. Dimka slipped a cardboard box and some stolen bones beneath a passing truck. The dog was not able to respond in time when the vehicle started its engine once. Unintentionally, one of our volunteers, Sasha, came across a story about Dimka.

He does not understand why he cannot find a home, either at the shelter or at the resettlement center. Dimka was brought in right away despite the shelter already housing 40 dogs. Even though I didn’t know Dimka, I decided to try to help her. It would have been ideal if Dimka had been taken to a shelter before he was examined by a veterinarian.

During Dimka’s visit to the clinic, all the employees and volunteers adored the dog. It’s impossible to look away from the warmth and joy in his eyes when he interacts with others.

In response to all the attention, he smiles. Due to his small size and well-mannered manners, Dimka is a good apartment mate.
