In January, a small kitten with bear ears and wobbly front legs came to the shelter seeking a forever family. The couple volunteered at the shelter to care for a beautiful cat they named “Kiwi,” who immediately caught the attention of her adoptive parents.

Kiwi began receiving physical therapy frequently throughout the day to heal his legs. According to the volunteers, he has a warm compress on his hands. Tendons are then stretched and massaged to help build joints. In order to assist with her mobility range, Kiwi, who is incredibly brave in the face of these difficulties, will receive weekly braces.

Kiwi, who is incredibly brave despite her challenges and doesn’t seem to realize she is different, will receive weekly braces to increase her mobility range. Melania and her husband have cared for Cherry, a senior cat, since he was a kitten.

Cherry took care of the little girl’s needs and kept her tidy, like a good big brother. Seeing this cat reminds us that we are faultless in everything we do.
