During a spectacular act of selflessness, a black Labrador Retriever sacrificed her life to save her best friends. A quick-thinking dog defended her small friends from an alligator attack by using her body as a shield. Fortunately, everyone survived, but the brave dog had some serious injuries! Beauty, a beautiful black lab, is no exception.
There is no doubt that retrievers are loving dogs. She loves humans and other animals equally, but three ducks in particular – Dot, Cress, and Downey – have captured her heart. Beauty’s small ducks do not share her feelings (according to her owners, whenever she approaches them, they flee), but she adores them and protects them at all costs. Whether she would be willing to give up her life – if necessary – for her companions was impossible to predict.
She stepped in to help her friends when she realized they were in dire need. Misti Roberts, the dog’s owner, told WJHG that the dog is incredibly kind to the puppies. With a duck and dog, it’s not what you’d expect.” She loves ducks and wants to be their friend. And what she achieved was nothing short of incredible In Panama City Beach, Florida, Misti and her family live near Lake Powell, so the ducks can spend their days swimming there. The watchful Lab follows them to the lake to make sure everything is okay. However, something dreadful happened this time. Ducks were having a good time when an alligator nearly 10 feet long chased them around the lake.
Even though the terrified ducks had just gotten out of the water, the ravenous beast hunted them down. In the end, Beauty saved the day, despite the fact that she nearly died!
