Rusla had just seen a friend and was on her way home. As night fell outside, she made her way into a tiny forest. As she walked along the route, she heard faint moaning.
During her search for the source of the noise, Rusla found a tattered box that was wet with rain. The box contained five puppies, still very young and very cold. When they spotted the guy, the puppies wailed even harder and snuggled together for warmth. In response to Ruslan’s voice, the puppies jumped out of the box, running to him and clambering up his legs like it was their last chance.
Ruslan understood that the puppies could only be saved by him because no one else could do so today. Wrapping the puppies in his sweater, the man carried them home.
His charity work with animals involved caring for numerous cats and four dogs living in a rented flat with Ruslan. Ruslan discovered that the puppies had just been born and had not yet learned how to eat on their own. It was necessary for him to feed them infant formula.
