There is no doubt that dogs are caring and friendly creatures, and they are considered to be man’s best friends and companions. They are loyal to their owners and willing to help those in need. They form strong bonds not only with their humans, but also with other animals. It is possible for dogs to love and protect their owners.
Hiro is a kind dog who saved a helpless baby bird from certain death. When he and his human, Viviana Davila, were in the backyard in Puerto Rico, they noticed something on the ground. Hiro approached the strange object with curiosity. As he licked the object, he looked at her face as if he wanted to say he had found something important.
Her dog’s hints were understood by Viviana. In addition, she approached to investigate. On the ground, she saw a helpless and defenseless baby bird. She wrapped the poor creature in a towel and brought it home. As a result, Hiro saved the life of this creature, since the bird would have died if he hadn’t acted.
In fact, the baby bird was a beautiful Quaker parrot that was paraplegic after falling off a nest. In the wild, the harmed bird would not have survived. It was a real fighter, so Viviana named it Hope. The local vet gave her instructions on how to take care of it. Keeping the bird comfortable, the kind woman fed it regularly.
The bird never left Hiro’s side. The recovery of Hope was very rapid. Hope and Hiro became inseparable friends during Hiro’s recovery period. Hope was also cared for by the kind dog. The dog saved the life of Viviana’s baby parrot, making her very proud and happy. Hopefully this unusual friendship between these two will last a long time.
