Awoken in the middle of the night by his wife, Jack Jokinen was dead asleep. As they had a little baby, he was scared that something might be wrong with him. His wife told him that there is an intruder in their living room. He became curious and confused.
For his surprise, he found a puppy lying on the floor downstairs. As his door and all of his windows were closed, the first thing that disturbed him was how she appeared in his house. Apparently, someone is in his house, so he checked. There was no stranger in his house, only the poor dog.
Upon checking the footage from the security camera, he discovered the mystery. After he and his pet George came home from their evening walk, Jack realized he forgot to lock the door. It was stormy, rainy, and cold that night. It appears that the wind has opened the door.
He saw the dog coming down the street on the footage. The time was 3:16 p.m. Then she stopped in front of their house’s stairs, unsure whether to proceed. After a few seconds, she decided to enter the house. A part of the footage was clear, but another part was a mystery.
After a few minutes, a stranger passed by, saw the door open, approached, looked inside, and closed the door. It turned out that the mysterious man was Jack’s friend. Jack’s warm house provided food, understanding, love, and care for the frightened and confused dog that night. In the morning, Jack took the lost dog to the vet where he learned that the dog was a 9-year-old stray. They decided to give her a chance.
