Megyn Scott-Hintz, a resident of Texas, found a sick kitten on the street a few weeks ago and decided to adopt it.

Megyn recalls that he was thin, hungry, and flea-ridden. Megyn’s kitten Garfield had difficulty adjusting to the new environment. However, the kitten soon had an older brother named Pickles who helped him with everything. Megyn raised Pickles for many years, but he spent most of his time outside, only coming inside to eat and rest.

Seeing Garfield, however, changed everything: the semi-wild and unsociable cat instantly became caring and sensitive. Pickles took care of his little brother, played with him, cleaned, protected, and even put him to sleep. Garfield spent some time in a veterinary hospital because of health issues. Pickles was overjoyed to see the kitten again once he returned home.

Pickles took care of Garfield even more actively after Garfield returned. When I tried to remove the kitten, he hissed and bit me as if to say, “Don’t touch the baby!” Don’t bother him. That’s what I’ll do,”It was Megyn who said it. At the moment, little Garfield is gradually recovering and enjoys spending time with his older brother, who disappears less frequently on the street. With the kitten’s friendship, Megyn hopes Pickles will become more outgoing and comfortable at home.
