Known as the saddest cat on the web, BenBen goes by the name BenBen.
He lived in a shelter and was about to be euthanized. He had a severe spinal injury, many wounds, and one ear was missing.
It is most likely that he escaped from a dog or a group of aggressive stray cats. It was also possible that this was the work of human hands. According to the shelter staff, the cat seemed to have a presentiment that his end was near. At one point, he lay with a detached look and refused to eat or drink.
Veterinary clinic nurse learned about the cat’s story. Together with her husband, she picked up the cat. The doctors told them the cat would never be able to walk again. With the correct treatment, he was able to not only walk, but also run and jump high on the windowsill.
Although he is still on antibiotics, the positive dynamics are evident. The saddest cat has changed, becoming joyful and cheerful. The husband and wife brought him into the car, and he immediately cheered up, as if he felt his salvation.
