Sully’s stroller: Dog owner makes mobility device so pooch can still go hiking

Sully, a golden retriever, was always with his owner. As a group, they hiked all the trails in Yoho National Park and Kananaskis Valley together.

Moreover, Sully has recently been diagnosed with laryngeal paralysis, making breathing increasingly difficult for the dog, who is already 14 years old.Since Sully asks to accompany men when they go outside, its owner, a Canadian named Donny Marchuk, cares that his pet does not grow old inside four walls.

An ordinary baby carriage was attached with fasteners for skis and snowshoes so the dog could continue to travel with him.Combined with its owner, the dog is able to move on snow and ice, overcome slopes, and ride over rough terrain.

In these moments, Donny says, you won’t find a happier dog.A makeshift stroller always attracts attention: passersby stop to pet Sully or ask the Canadian a few questions. This kind of attention pleases him.In exchange for years of loyalty and love, Donny wanted to reward the pet with a stroller.

Like most people, I have faced difficult times. He helped me get over them by communicating with me,” the man said.Canadians plan to take even more joint trips in the future. For as long as it gives him pleasure, he intends to push Sully’s wheelchair.
