The wrinkled sand-colored Shar Pei dog adopted two Siberian tiger cubs rejected by their mother

The maternal instinct is a powerful thing, especially when it is expressed by our best friends, our dogs. In addition to caring for their own babies, they also help orphaned babies of other species.

Once again, this story illustrates how mamma dogs are capable of providing love and comfort to helpless creatures. The wild animals shouldn’t live in captivity for one essential reason. In consequence, they reject their own newborns because they lose their maternal instinct.

Here is what happened to these two newborn endangered tigers. Two Siberian tiger cubs were rejected by their own mother during their birth at Oktyaberskiy health resort Zoo in Russia if it wasn’t for this adorable Shar Pei mamma dog. They had little chance of surviving without their mother’s care and protection.

The orphaned cubs were saved by Cleopatra, a sand-colored Shar Pei dog. Besides nursing her own babies, she was also ready to nurse two wild tiger cubs. Cleopatra immediately cared for the newborn cubs, cleaning and nursing them alongside her own children.

In addition to a caring adoptive mother, the orphaned tigers found a big, loving family. Cleopatra’s place was where they all slept together.Cleopatra’s cub was named Clyopa, and Plyusha was named Plyusha. There is no danger to the caring mamma dog from the little tigers. When they grow up, they will return to the Zoo.
