Spanish-Speaking British Parrot Found After Four Years

Parrots are known to be vocal. Although I had never heard of a multilingual parrot before, this one certainly convinced me otherwise. A gray African parrot named Nigel vanished from his British owner’s Torrance, California, home. Darren Chick was shocked to find his bird again four years later in the same place. Its accent, however, was different this time. The gray parrot had a British accent before he flew off, but when he was spotted, he had a Spanish accent. A dog grooming salon owner, Julia Sperling, discovered Nigel.

“He was one of the happiest birds I have ever seen. His singing and talking were out of control. She said he was barking like dogs. “I’m from Panama, and he was asking, ‘What happened? in Spanish”

Initially, the woman thought he was a missing pet based on an advertisement she had seen. Once Julia realized her mistake, she tried to track down his original owner after a visit to the veterinarian.

When I introduced myself, I asked, “Have you lost a bird?” Initially, he said no. However, he thought I meant recently. According to the woman, he looked at me as if I were crazy.

As Darren stated, I knew it was him the moment I saw him, even though he had no idea where his favorite bird had been for the previous four years. Nigel was greeted with joy by the owner, who spoke with a heavy Spanish accent. According to him, he is doing well.
