He enjoys traveling with his dogs and kayaking with them. Dave is a former surgeon. One day, he discovered a way to combine the two. The man built a boat exclusively for dogs.
It has always been a pleasure for our dogs to accompany us on trips in cars and boats. ‘Giving kids that chance wasn’t difficult, and boats are enjoyable to make regardless,’ Dave says.
A kayak Dave had built earlier had a cargo compartment large enough for one of his dogs to fit comfortably. To keep the water out, he used special fasteners.
Using Dave’s ingenuity, he was able to share his passion for kayaking with his pals, and the thrilling canines got a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience kayaking.
“They seem to be having a lot of fun.” Even when we only pull out the boats, they are thrilled. Dave continues, They take their seats, and we’re out. Afterward, the dog kayak was passed on to a new generation. Dave reveals that he and his wife now go on boat adventures with their new golden retriever.
