There was once a little, newly-born sphinx sent to the California facility. According to the owners of the kitten named Lavender, the mother of the cat did not want to care for the cubs.

Despite knowing that his mother was his last hope, the staff began bottle feeding the cat. After six days, a cat called Arina, who was transferred from another shelter, began showing interest in the kitten.

She was already a mother since she had kittens. Lavender was glad to have her mother abandon her now that her mother had abandoned her. She began to feel affection for her and began to treat her as her own.

“Arina promised Lavender not only breast milk, but also the affection she so desperately needed,” the Center’s director said. Lavender recovered her strength quickly under the supervision of her foster mother.

A permanent home will be found for Lavender once the vets have completed their comprehensive assessment of her health. The story is so charming.
