As humans, we are deeply convinced that we will never be able to equal the animal world when it comes to the friendships they share. In spite of its tendency to form indescribable interspecies connections, wildlife is surprisingly able to traverse all boundaries of human imagination. We have heard a lot of these types of stories, but each one is different and wonderful.
They are kind-hearted individuals who, after being separated from their families long ago, received a second chance at life thanks to the Wildlife Friends Foundation of Thailand. Here they met. Leonardo, the tortoise, survived the unlucky fate of living in the zoo.

When Simon was transferred to the center, the tortoise had been living there for several years. The poor newborn cow was in a terrible accident, and she lost a leg, but kind people managed to save her from being slaughtered. By providing her with a prosthesis, the team tried to help her. At first they thought of moving the cow to a calmer place, but everything changed one day when she met Leonardo.

It was impossible to separate them after that day. Solace was found in her new friend. They both understand each other so well. It was as if they were destined for each other. They both have difficult pasts, but now they have the chance to enjoy each other’s company, surprising the entire staff and beyond.
