The young lion named Filya came inside a tourist bus in Taigan Park, Crimea. The lion did not show any signs of aggression when it came in for hugs from the tourists while they were watching him.
He didn’t attack any of the men or women, showing that he was not aggressive. He climbed into the open vehicle and licked several tourists as a sign of affection.
In this same park, a woman was mauled by a lion just months ago. I wouldn’t want to take that chance.
Visitors play with and pet Filya and take selfies to document the rare occasion.
